The World Pipe Band Championships was recently held in Glasgow and A&D were well represented at the highest level with two of our rising stars, Callum Gilchrist and Louis Norton in attendance playing for the 6 time World Champion, Simon Fraser University Pipe Band.
We were very proud to be watching the lads play with such an amazing band and put on two cracking performances to challenge the very best in the world.
This bodes extremely well for A&D when they return home to practice and pass on their experiences with the next generation of players we’re currently teaching and mentoring to make the jump to play at their first Nationals with the senior band.
